Be advised - we are entered into 2 Day of the Dead Parades. This one is in Kansas City, KS on Saturday, November 1st. The 2nd parade, the Mattie Rhoades Community Center event (the one we were in last year) is the following Friday, November 7th on the Westside. I will create a separate event for that one. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST - Come join the KC Sling Friends as we honor the Day of the Dead Celebration on Central Ave in Kansas City, KS.
The parade starts promptly at 6pm. Lineup at 4:30pm. We will post the meeting spot a little closer to the day. These parades are evening parades and are a truly beautiful experience that you do not want to miss! The cars, the lights and the costumes are amazing. Dress your sling, dress yourselves, come see Andy the Slingdog in his poncho and sombrero! Come have some fun!
