Has corona diminished all of your social contacts? Are you struggling to figure out how to talk to people again? Kannunvalajat and Cissi are offering you a simple way to get back on track in your social life. Our speedfriending event will provide you with mind-expanding conversations and lots of new friends to make up for the possibilities lost due to corona.This will be a unique opportunity to meet both international students and students from Finnish programs and spark potentially everlasting bonds, or just enjoy the company of new people without the weight of all of these grandiose statements, your pick!
To be able to participate, we ask you to sign up for the event through a sign-up form which will be circulated on Facebook soon.
We will be hosting the event at the Wilhelmsson Hall of the New Student House from 17:00 or 21:00 after which the newfound friendships can be solidified at the Thirsty Scholar.

Kannunvalajat ja CISSI järjestää speedfriending tapahtuman perjantaina 22.10 Wilhelmsson salissa Uudessa Ylioppilastalossa. Tapahtumassa osallistujat pääsevät tutustumaan uusiin ihmisiin ja käymään mukavia keskusteluja kansainvälisten ja suomalaisten opiskelijoiden kanssa. Ilta tulee jatkumaan Thirsty Scholar- pubissa.

Covid-19 safety:
We require participants to provide proof of either full vaccination, recovery from COVID-19 within 6 months or a negative test result from the previous 48 hours. We kindly ask you to follow good hand and coughing hygiene. If you're feeling even slightly ill, please stay home.
Accessibility:
Wilhelmsson Hall is located on the fifth floor of the New Student House (Mannerheimintie 5A). Unfortunately, the space is not wheelchair accessible, the space is accessible only by stairs. Artificial smoke or flashing lights are not used in the event. It is possible to bring an assistance or guide dog into the room.
