Join us for the Kannapolis Fire Truck Parade, Food Drive and Bloodmobile on Friday, October 3, hosted by the Kannapolis Fire Department!Schedule of Events:
9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Blood Drive
12 - 6 p.m. Food Drive
6 p.m. - Parade Begins
The parade will proceed along Laureate Way and N. Research Campus Drive, between City Hall and the North Carolina Research Campus. Bring a chair and enjoy seeing fire trucks, old and new from departments throughout the region.
Meet our firefighters as you drop off a canned food donation from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Firefighters will be at the fire trucks, located at Kannapolis City Hall, 401 Laureate Way. Items that are needed most are canned meats, peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles, canned fruit, pork-n-beans, and pudding cups. All items will be taken to Cooperative Christian Mission to distribute locally to those in need.
One Blood will have the Big Red Bus at City Hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for anyone who would like to give a blood donation. To make an appointment to give blood register here - https://www.oneblood.org/donate-now.html
