Join us for a relaxing day out to Kandos which commences its journey in Sydney and travels along the speedway to Penrith.From here our train traverses the steep grades of world heritage Blue Mountains with spectacular vistas over the Gross and Megalong Valleys before descending past the Zig Zag Railway into historic steel city of Lithgow. Continuing we pass Capertee Valley – the widest valley in the southern hemisphere - before arriving at Kandos – nestled under Combamolang Mountain.
Alight at Kandos to explore its humble beginnings as a cement quarrying town.
