I will be taking only 10 hikers on this hike. During the hike, We will be visiting 3 waterfalls. If you are interested, you may go under or behind the waterfall. It is a water hike so come prepared. Highly recommend Water shoes.

Overview
Rating: Moderately strenuous
There will be some minor scrambling and exposure and wading up, down and across the stream.
Drive time: 2.5 hours each way (we lose 1 hr in UT) - We plan to stop for dinner on the way back in St George
Hiking time: 4-5 hours (rule of thumb 2 mph - there are many variables, the average person takes .5 hour to hike 1 mile on gentle terrain)
The Hike
Kanarra Falls (also known as Kanarra Creek or Kanarraville Falls) is a slot canyon located just outside of Kanarraville in southern Utah, north of Zion National Park and southwest of Bryce Canyon National Park.
In many ways, Kanarra Falls reminds us of a mini-version of the Zion Narrows. The hike requires walking through a stream that leads into a beautiful slot canyon with several waterfalls and pools of water. Compared to the Zion Narrows, you can expect lower water levels (typically not above ankle deep) and fewer crowds!

Water: 1 liter of water for every 2 hours of hiking in summer weather, and half that in winter weather

General
Safety First-Fun Second. We will maintain a moderate pace focused on feeling good, fun, making new friends and enjoying each other's company. We will allow enough time for potty breaks, photos, rest stops, snacks, lunch, and enjoy the scenery.
Waitlist Policy
Due to large numbers wanting to join our hikes, there are conditions of acceptance.
For this hike, everyone will go to waiting list by default. Only who paid for the reservation will be allowed to attend. Your payment will be non-refundable unless some other hiker shows interest to take your spot.
Priority will be to those who have never no-showed and for whom I have emergency contact info. If you are on the Waitlist it is because you: RSVP'd late; previously no-showed, I don't know your hiking ability, or I have no emergency contact info.
Removal Policy
You will be removed after 2-3 no-shows or for a single act of irresponsible behavior that endangers the safety or wellbeing of the group.
