Japanilainen erhu-muusikko Kanae Nozawa saapuu ensimmäistä kertaa Turkuun ja esittää monipuolisen kattauksen animesävelmiä, kuten Town with an Ocean View elokuvasta Kikin lähettipalvelu, Merry Go Round of Life elokuvasta Liikkuva linna ja A Journey elokuvasta Maameren Tarinat.
Konsertissa kuullaan myös muita japanilaisia kappaleita ja Nozawan omaa alkuperäistuotantoa. Mukana esiintymässä ovat anime- ja elokuvamusiikistaan (mm. Studio Ghibli -elokuva Maameren tarinat) tunnettu legendaarinen säveltäjä-kosketinsoittaja Tamiya Terashima sekä pianisti Maki Furugaki. Erhun eli ”kiinalaisen viulun” ilmeikäs sointi on monille tuttu elokuva- ja videopelimusiikista, ja sen monipuolinen sointi pääsee oikeuksiinsa Kanae Nozawan esityksessä.
Kanae Nozawa, an erhu player active in Japan. Tamiya Terashima, who composed the music for Studio Ghibli's “Tales from Earthsea,” will join her as keyboardist and perform Ghibli music, including his compositions, as well as music from Japanese anime and video games and her original pieces. The expressive sound of Erhu, the "Chinese violin", is familiar to many from film and video game music. The instrument, which has attracted huge international interest, is given its full potential in a performance by Kanae Nozawa. Welcome to the concert to experience the captivating sound of the erhu in all its diversity!
Kanae Nozawa, who once had a chance to touch an erhu (Chinese stringed instrument called Niko) as casted as an actress playing a role of erhu performer at a theatre play of drama, fatally happened to meet ehru then and got fascinated with the nature of the instrument, and ever since then she started her great career of erhu player. Her characteristic and glamous tone that she plays attracted so many listeners and touched their hearts with poetic inspiration. At January of 2007, she released her debut album from major record company as of the very first erhu player in Japan. And her performance was reviewed and highly rated as if it was human singing. And also her gifted and stunning song writing ability with full of originality and highly attractive stage performance has been supremely favored and has made the popularities among wide range of generations in the world, and her splendid singing talent emphasize her presence strongly as well.
