Appear on the Wayside of Ruin" is a solo exhibition demonstrating restoration of balance to black figures collectively integrating ideals of luxury and poverty into one census.
This exhibit disassociates displacement, and societal stereotypes among the nature of black communities all around. Whether black American or African descent, this exhibt speaks on the socio-economic conditions of what it means overall to be a person and artist of color.
At the same time, revitalizing ideals of living prosperously among each other culturally that enables empowerment to be felt more courageously. The theme of planetary blackness consists of culture resembling that of proud vibrant colors, light contrasts, and Melanated textures of black faces from inspirations of childhood, growing up is not only a testament of origin, but a birthplace that represents humble beginnings where growing pains dig deep from within its roots. Recognizing the beauty in the struggle towards the places he calls home, through personal experience of daily black life spreads awareness that challenges its front lines of societal standards in a more positive retrospect.
