About this Event
KAMA DC is proud to present its first-ever live podcast taping, on Monday, Dec. 9 at the DC Arts Center in Adams Morgan. KAMA Journeys is a podcast that centers the voices of immigrants in our community while providing a platform for storytelling, cultural connection, and unity.
At the Dec. 9 taping, the KAMA DC podcast team will record three 15-minute episodes, each focused on an interviewee who immigrated or sought asylum in the U.S. and now works to support other newly-arrived refugees or migrants. At the end of the event, there will be a Q&A where the audience can ask the interviewees their own questions about their experiences.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:30 p.m. See you there!
Free tickets are available upon request by emailing [email protected].
