Emergency Preparedness Fair Happening Sept. 13Join us for the Kailua Emergency Preparedness Fair on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kailua Town Center (near ULTA Beauty). Hosted by Kailua Alert & Prepared (KAP), this free, family-friendly event is all about helping our community stay safe and informed before disaster strikes.
You’ll find hands-on demos, emergency kits, info booths, and live presentations from local experts including Hawaiian Electric, Kailua CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), and other community partners. Learn how to prepare your home and family for power outages, hurricanes, wildfires, and more.
Whether you’re new to emergency planning or already have a go-bag at the ready, there’s something for everyone. Come connect with neighbors, learn lifesaving tips, and take steps to protect what matters most.
