You are invited to join McAllen High School senior Kaedyn Pulido as she officially signs her commitment to continue her powerlifting career at the collegiate level with University of Texas Longhorn Powerlifting in a special ceremony. Kaedyn is a 2-time District Champion, 2-time Regional Champion, and 3-time State Qualifier in the 148 lb weight class, recently earning 3rd place at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association (THSWPA) State Meet on March 15, 2025, at Bert Ogden Arena. She was also named to the THSWPA Elite Academics Team, nominated by her coach, “Rod” Rodriguez.
Beyond the platform, Kaedyn excels in both academics and leadership. She is a member of the National Honor Society, ranked in the top 10% of her class, and was selected as a 2024 Girls State Delegate. She also serves as a McHi Varsity cheerleader and 2-time captain and has earned the Women’s Pound-for-Pound Award with McHi’s powerlifting team for two consecutive years.

The event will begin promptly at 3:25 PM. Members of the public should allow extra time for proper sign-in procedures at McAllen High School.
