About this Event
Join us for another combined EST Kabbalat Shabbat service and potluck dinner! We will gather together for a short, lay-led prayer service full of intentionality, egalitarianism, spirituality, and love for our neighbors. Immediately after we will have our typical monthly potluck dinner. Feel free to join for one or both events.
While portions of the service will be in Hebrew, we have designed a service to help you learn, hum/sing along, and disconnect from a long week and welcome the sabbath. Challah and wine will be served following services for the kiddush, and afterwards, we encourage everyone to stay for our monthly potluck.
More information:
- Service will be located in a private home in East Nashville (address to be sent to attendees).
- The service will be quick (approx. 30 minutes), allowing you to keep your Friday night available for whatever you wish.
- This service will be FUN and kid-friendly. Kids are welcome to play or move around (childcare will not be provided so we ask parents to be responsible for their kids please!)
- You will note elements of multiple Jewish denominatiosn: reform, conservative, and orthodox.

- You do not need to be Jewish, speak hebrew, or have ever attended a service.
- Feel free to bring friends and family (just be sure to RSVP for them).
