Join us for an unforgettable night of music as Antonio Artese, Santino Tafarella, and Matt Perko converge to push the boundaries of jazz and classical music! Antonio Artese, joined by Santino Tafarella on bass and Matt Perko on drums, will present a concert of original compositions that explore the intersections of jazz and classical music, blending European and American cultural influences with the dynamic interplay of improvisation and composition.Inspired by the lyrical elegance of Bill Evans' piano trio and Northern European minimalism, Artese's works resonate with intense lyricism, expanding the jazz piano trio format through innovative harmonic and rhythmic inventions. A refined musician who oscillates between California's Pacific shores and the rolling hills of Tuscany, pianist and composer Antonio Artese makes his debut at K17 Concert series.
We are excited to be back at the iconic Village Studio, a world-renowned recording complex located in a 1920s Masonic Temple in Los Angeles. The Moroccan Room, known for its stunning acoustics, will serve as the venue for this captivating event. We extend our gratitude to Jeff Greenberg for kindly providing us with the studio for the concert.
