This walk takes in the beautiful K Road Cliffs formed over eons by layers of sedimentary deposits. It winds through the Werribee Mansion Park and along the Werribee River. Our journey follows the newly opened Red Cliffs Scenic Reserve, through the grounds of the Werribee Mansion, past the Community Farm, then through a small forested area of impressive river gums and along the golf course with its lush green lawns. This leads to a bridge over the Werribee River with views of the river and cliffs along the way.
The terrain is mostly flat with a few short hilly sections, comprising compacted earth, gravel and grassy areas. The walk is suitable for most ages and reasonable fitness level.

ABOUT OUR CLUB:
The Werribee Bushwalking Club is a small club which was formed in 1982. We aim to provide at least 1-2 walks each month which are mostly held on Sundays and are usually conducted in national, state and metropolitan parks. The Club also organises occasional overnight backpacking walks, weekends away, shutterbug (photography) events and social activities. Most of our current members are in the mature age range but we welcome all age groups over 18 with a shared interest in bushwalking. Check us out at www.werribeebushwalking.com/
