About this Event

Hi Hi, I'm K. Desireé and I have been performing poetry and singing in and around Newark, NJ for over 20 years. Affectionately dubbed as the Haiku Guru for my unconventional style of the traditional Japanese form of poetry. My first book, Poems for My Namesake turns 9 years old and it's the perfect excuse for cake. Meet me at Marco Halls' studio for a Pop Up of homemade baked goods, poetry and good old jubilation!

I will share some of the poems from my new book in the works and perform with a few friends.
