K-BBQ & Home buying Seminar

Hello everyone!

This is 🏠Realtor Molly Hwang, and I’m excited to be presenting this unique event with my co-host, 💰Mortgage Broker Andy Yi. Both Andy and I live in Langley, and we wanted to host a fun, educational seminar that blends culture, food, and real estate - while also giving you a chance to connect with your neighbors and community.

The first half of the event will be split into two groups - you can choose which one to join.

🛒 I’ll guide one group at H-Mart in Langley near Willowbrook Mall through the grocery shopping portion, showing you how to pick the best cuts of meat, sauces, vegetables, and soup ingredients.

🍳At the same time, Andy will lead the second group in cooking kimchi and doenjang soup, and preparing the sides and vegetables.

👉 If you’re coming as a family, I recommend sending one person to the grocery shopping portion and another to for the soup cooking.

👉 If you’re attending alone, I suggest joining the grocery shopping, since I can share soup-cooking videos with you later.

👉 Coming with friends /family is the best way - you’ll learn more and can teach each other afterwards!

🥩❗This is a BYOM - bring your own meat event. You’ll purchase your own meat to cook and enjoy, while vegetables, side dishes, rice, soup, drinks, and light dessert are provided and included in your ticket.

🏠After the grocery shopping is done and the soup is prepared, Andy and I will host a short but informative home buying seminar with key mortgage insights.

Once we’ve worked up our appetite, I’ll show you a truly valuable skill you’ll be able to use, keep, and share with friends: how to cook authentic Korean BBQ at home. Cooking Korean BBQ at home not only saves you money but also allows you to customize it exactly the way you like.

Info: Meet Andy at 20065 85 ave - he will show you how to make kimchi & doenjang soup, prepare rice, wash the vegetables, and set up the side dishes - basically getting everything ready for the barbecue apart from the meat.

Info: Learn basic table manners of Korean dining, what order of meats to cook for the best flavor, and how to make ssam - Korean lettuce wraps filled with meat, rice, and sauces. We’ll also show you how to mix simple soju cocktails, and of course, you’ll have time to ask us both real estate & mortgage questions while mingling and connecting with your neighbors!
