Kölsch service is a type of beer service that is traditional to the german city of Cologne. What you can expect: When seated at the tables you will be served a small cylindrical glass of Kölsch, this glass is called a stange and holds ~8oz of beer. Once your glass is empty or near empty a server will come by and replace your glass with a full one. Upon dropping your new glass you will recieve a notch on your coaster counting the number of glasses you have been served. The server will continue to replenish your glass until you place your coaster atop your glass indicating you are finished. You will then take your coaster that has been notched to pay for the indicated amount. Kölsch is served this way to keep the beer fresh, cold and holding onto its light carbination. So come partake in this traditional german beer service and enjoy the company and community of your friends and family at Field Day!
The purchase of your ticket will get you glassware, your first pour and a seat at the table! :)
