Please join us for our 16th annual: Tashlich L'Tzedek: A Jewish Commitment to Justice for the New Year
The Tashlich ceremony around the Jewish New Year allows us to reflect on our actions/inactions of the past year, and then symbolically cast off these transgressions into a body of water. Although this is a symbolic gesture, the act of collective ritual invites us to embody and be accountable to the intentions we voice. Join us as we reaffirm our commitment to working for Palestinian liberation and make connections to local struggles.
All are welcome!
ACCESS: Metro Bus #2
For ASL interpretation, please contact [email protected]. Please avoid wearing fragrances. The area where we hold the ritual is wheelchair accessible via a paved path from the parking lot. We will have chairs to sit in if you need one or you can bring your own.
The Seattle chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace is part of a national organization working against Israel's occupation of Palestinian land. As a community, we engage in ritual and political activity in support of self-determination for Palestinians.
