We invite all community members to attend our upcoming Juvenile Justice Planning Forum on July 20, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Metropolitan Community College Fort Omaha Campus, Building 22 at 5300 N. 30th Street in Omaha. The goal of this planning forum is to assist Douglas County in identifying what our priority items should be for our next Youth Services Plan. This plan will help in allocating State of Nebraska Community-Based Juvenile Services Aid Grant funds.Priority areas include the following:
✅Diversion
✅Excessive absenteeism
✅Mental health services
✅Other services that will divert youth from the juvenile justice system.

***Please note: the content presented during all three meetings will be identical. Therefore, you only need to attend one of the sessions to ensure you receive all the important information and have your voice heard in the planning process. We hope to see you there!
