This impactful gathering will feature an Impact Panel and Breakout Sessions focused on some of the most pressing issues in our society today. Participants will dive deep into critical conversations and explore solutions for:
- Mass Incarceration: Tackling the systemic challenges that perpetuate high incarceration rates and discussing strategies for reform.
- The Second Look Act: Exploring pathways for individuals incarcerated for long periods to have their sentences re-evaluated, offering a second chance for justice.
- Preventing the School-to-Pr*son Pipeline: Addressing how disciplinary policies and systemic biases push youth, especially in marginalized communities, into the criminal justice system, and how we can stop it.
