An alarming number of child sexual assault perpetrators are being sentenced to shorter periods than the average time for other comparable heinous crimes. The rights of victims — especially children - are being overlooked in favor of the rights of the offenders, an unthinkable imbalance that needs immediate rectification. It’s time to come together as a community and let our officials know that we demand a change in the minimum sentencing guidelines!!Please join us in a peaceful protest at the Daviess County Court House (2nd & Frederica) on April 9th from 9am - 4pm.
