About this Event
When a loved one's case is delayed, unresolved, or moving slower than expected, families are often left feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and unsure of what to do next. This survivor-led workshop provides practical tools, advocacy strategies, and guidance for navigating the criminal justice system while pursuing answers and accountability.
Participants will learn how to effectively engage with detectives, prosecutors, and decision-makers, understand their rights as a victim's family, utilize media and community advocacy, and keep their loved one's case visible without losing themselves in the process. Whether your case is pending investigation, awaiting trial, or has gone years without resolution, this training is designed to help families move from uncertainty to informed action.
