The two halves of the Algo-rhythm Machine that make the whole have complete control of the world's screens: Entertainment, Education, Engagement - all for our viewing pleasure. But when their contrasting beliefs collide and the machine fractures, the pair must travel back through the internet to find a way to piece it all back together.
Returning to the Fringe after 2023's The Vixen, Just Us is a theatre company that explores the connection between natural and unnatural through performance, stories and allegory. This piece of new writing hopes to shine some light on the benefits, dangers and misunderstandings of social media algorithms, political echo chambers and doomscrolling.
Come along to explore the evolution of the World Wide Web from chat rooms and forums to social media stars and tech giants, and hopefully learn something along the way.
