OMEN. x Syncopated return to Wigwam basement on October 19th with Juri Heidemann, yet another fantastic and long anticipated Irish debut! Juri Heidemann is a Berlin based DJ and a versatile producer, focusing on Techno. Influenced by various genres, he is constantly creating his very own vision of electronic music with unique textures to his sound. His artistic approach is already audible on important labels such as Be As One Imprint, Quartz Rec., Frenzy and many more. Thanks to his musical knowledge he takes every crowd on a journey through sound from old school to modern sound and all the way back. No matter if it takes two or eight hours. His sets are equipped with lots of own productions. Expect hypnotic grooves, shaky rhythms and endless loops that will keep your feet moving.
Chaz Moloney has been at the forefront of Limerick's underground dance scene over the last decade, through regular appearances as both a DJ and promoter. Promoting techno music in his locality; through projects such as TOT, SIONNA Music & Arts Festival & NOPANiK LK, Chaz has been pushing, forward thinking underground dance spaces for years and understands how to create a tangible dance experience from many aspects of the dance floor. A regular appearance on Ireland's Festival & Club Circuit, Chaz pushes a raw driving techno sound, taking inspiration from old school techno, while developing futuristic soundscapes. Over the course of the last 2 years Chaz has been collecting hardware and slowly transforming his craft from DJ to Live artist. Developing a modular system that allows him to be fully creative and express & relay the atmosphere of any room he performs in. Summer of 2023, audiences saw elements of the Live show for the first time as Chaz appeared at some coastal raves in Ireland testing out the system and parts of the show, before finally taking it to debut at Fuinneamh Festival, King John’s Castle for Culture Night and a Sold Out headline show in Belltable Theatre, Limerick. Improvisation lies at the fundamental core of Chaz’ performance and so you can expect to arrive at moments of blistering magic as Chaz layers the elements of his system and takes the room on a powerful sonic exploration. An experience that is underpinned by thundering grooves, powerful baselines and dissonant soundscapes!
