Whether a cheese newbie or dedicated turophile, we welcome you to our first Jura wine and cheese evening!
Join us for an informative and fun-filled evening as we explore the wine and cheese traditions of one of our favorite regions, the Jura of Eastern France, known for tall mountains and 80 pound wheels of cheese. Leigh Ranucci, an importer of our favorite Jura wines, joins Will in taking you through a journey of the region by way of pairing wine and several age profiles of Comte, along with some other delicious bites.
We will talk the basics of cheesemaking and sensory analysis, share stories of our travel with producers, and drink beautiful wine, all within our intimate (yet not intimidating!) cheese shop! We look forward to sharing our love for cheese and our experiences with you!
NOTES:
$5 of every ticket will be donated to "Full Plates, Full Potential" for the year of 2025.
Please purchase a ticket for each member of your party. Ticket price includes admission for one, as well as a cheese course, accompaniments, and beverage pairings for one.
Doors will open at 5:45pm, and class will begin promptly at 6:00pm. This is a seated event, which we expect to continue for 75 minutes. After the class, there will be time to shop with a 10% discount!
IMPORTANT NOTE: We may not be able to accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies. If you have purchased a ticket and have severe food allergies, please email [email protected] 2 days prior to the event so we can adjust your plate.
