Juntos Latin Alumni Global Spanish Event
Join us for an inspiring event celebrating Global Spanish , presented in collaboration with UVA Lifetime Learning. Global Spanish is a dynamic platform that supports groundbreaking research, creative work, and community building across Spanish-speaking cultures worldwide. We will showcase some of the innovative research and creative work being done by esteemed faculty in various departments across Grounds. Many thanks to Sam Amago (Grad ’99, ’03), Professor of Spanish; Tatiana Flores, Jefferson Scholars Foundation; Edgar F. Shannon, Professor of Art History; Fernando Valverde, Associate Professor of Spanish & Poetry; Paulina Ochoa, John L. Nau III Professor of the History and Principles of Democracy; Allison Bigelow, Associate Professor of Spanish; Ricardo Padron (Col ’89), Professor of Spanish; Jenn Bair, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Sociology and Federico Cuatlacuatl, Professor of Art and UVA 2024 Excellence in Arts & Humanities award, for your contributions! A reception with coffee house style refreshments, and music by Berto and Vincent will take place immediately after the session.
