JUNKYARD CHOIR
A five-piece rock band from southern England. The band play a home-brewed style of gritty, bluesy, ragged, soulful rock n roll.
Formed by lead vocalist and guitarist Mark Woods in 2014 (ex-Do Me Bad Things – signed to Atlantic Records in 2005), the band recorded their first two albums as a duo, featuring Woods and long-time drummer Tom Herbert. The band released their debut full-length, “Let Sleeping Dogs Lie” in 2015 which was followed by 2018's “Trouble In Mind”, both albums recorded and produced by Gavin Kinch behind a kebab shop in a tiny Croydon studio.
In 2019, Herbert left the band to reside in Switzerland and was replaced by Matt Ainsworth of local stoner rockers Trevor's Head. The band expanded during the next few years incorporating bass (David Holdstock & Kevin Hiscox), saxophone (Jackie Taylor), organ/piano (Dan Mulcahy) and three backing vocalists (Chantelle Bartlett, Jenny Lawrence and Tanya Pemberton) for the band's 2023 LP, “Wild Ones Never Die”.
During the recording of the album, the band went through a carousel of musicians with Joe Flynn (guitar) and Bob Ainsworth (bass) joining as permanent members. Following the release of “Wild Ones Never Die,” the band played a sold out show at The Sound Lounge in Sutton.
During 2023, the band took a break with Woods temporarily joining south coast blues band “The Dead Reds” and performing at festivals such as Glastonbury and Beautiful Days with them releasing an album in the summer of 2023.
Junkyard Choir reconvened in late 2023 with the line-up consisting of Mark Woods (vocals and guitar), Matt Ainsworth (drums), Jackie Taylor (saxophone), Bob Ainsworth (bass) & Joe Flynn (guitar).
The band will be writing/recording their 4th album in 2024 as well as playing shows throughout the UK.

NICK FRATER
“Pop tunesmith par excellence” (5 Stars) Shindig!
British multi-instrumentalist and producer Nick Frater lives in a land of 60s/70s sophisticated-pop, a self-confessed obsession with vintage recording techniques, and a ‘more is more’ approach to production.
Based in Croydon, England, Frater’s music has drawn frequent comparisons to Bacharach, as well as Cheap Trick, Squeeze, Jellyfish, Beatles and Elliott Smith.
A prolific songwriter Nick Frater has released 12 albums all of which have received critical acclaim in the underground music press.
Proudly immersed in the DIY music scene, Frater has become something of a ‘songwriter’s songwriter’ collaborating with several luminaries of the melodic-rock world such as Roger Joseph Manning Jr (Beck/Jellyfish), Darian Sahanaja (Brian Wilson/Wondermints), Johnny Echols (Love), Chris Farlowe, Darren Hayman (Hefner), Nick Garrie, and many more.
Signed to legendary independent labels Think Like a Key, Big Stir Records and Kool Kat Music, Nick Frater also works as a producer under the pseudonym Great Sheiks. Frater appears as musician on countless projects, notably as live keyboardist for Love (Forever Changes tours 2019, 2022 and 2024), and he even worked a night as Ray Davies’ guitar technician.
