Activities include…🎣Fun fishing
Catch and take home 2 rainbow trout (gutted or filleted ready for cooking). This activity is a brilliant way to experience playing a fish, land it and remove the hook. The heaviest bag wins a prize.
🎣Fly fishing
Learn how to cast a fly line with instructor Stu Ingledew. We’ll finish the session with a casting competition on the bait pond.
🪰Introduction to fly fishing
Tie your own fly and have a go at casting it on the bait pond. Learn about different knots and how to do them (important in fishing), fly tackle setups, and why we use them.

📌All equipment will be provided on the day, all we recommend you bring is a cap and/or glasses for eye protection, plus weather appropriate attire
📌No previous fishing experience needed
📌Fishing Licence required for this event, these can be found via https://www.gov.uk/fishing-licences/buy-a-fishing-licence if applicable to age of the participant. Under 13yrs don't need one, however 13-16yr will need to register, which is FREE.
