Who Can Join:
Designed for aspiring young zookeepers aged 8 to 12.
Activities Include:
Food Prep Station - Get hands-on preparing fresh meals for our animal residents, including a special treat for our turtles! Learn about the diets of various animals and how food is tailored to meet their unique nutritional needs. Learn about the connection between feeding and animal care while helping maintain the health of our pond residents and other creatures.
Education Station: Step into the Educator Room for a personalized experience with our expert Animal Educators. Spend time up close with some of our fascinating creatures, learning about their behaviors, habitats, and care requirements. It's an opportunity for in-depth animal interactions and expert insight into the lives of the animals in our care.
Snake Weighing & Measurement - Take part in our snake health monitoring session! Help weigh and measure our snake friends as part of our routine health checks. Understand how important it is to track growth and well-being, and gain a deeper appreciation for these incredible reptiles. A hands-on opportunity to assist with essential animal care!
Alligator Handling Station - Learn the best practices for safely interact with baby alligators, guided by experienced handlers. This station offers a safe and controlled environment to learn about alligator care, behavior, and the crucial role they play in our ecosystem.
Team Bonding - Strengthen your teamwork and problem-solving skills with animal-themed team challenges! Work together to complete tasks inspired by the behaviors and needs of our resident animals. From problem-solving puzzles to physical challenges, this station encourages cooperation, communication, and creative thinking, all while learning about the animals' unique traits.
Please note that the schedule of activities may vary depending on the level of participation and engagement of the animals. We appreciate your understanding as we adapt to ensure the best experience for both our Junior Zookeepers and our animal ambassadors.
Special Offerings:
A complimentary meal sponsored by our local Shelby Township's Jets Pizza, including pizza and water.
Every child will receive a "Reptarium Junior Zookeeper" shirt when they arrive.
Ticketing Information:
Price: $100 per child. (Please note that this is a drop-off event. If a parent must be present for a specific reason, please confirm with us in advance by emailing [email protected] after booking.)
To maintain a high-quality experience, ticket availability is limited.
Check-in
Check-in is easy: Your reservation is under the name of the order. Please head to the middle doors upon arrival at 6pm. *Please note that this is a drop off event*
Doors will be locked during the event for safety and pickup will begin at 7:50pm

Our team will be capturing moments for social media, including a group photo of the class. By participating, you consent to the use of your child's image. If you prefer not to be included, please inform us in advance by email at [email protected]. We respect your privacy and are happy to accommodate your preferences.
