Junior Ranger Days is a free event that Little Rock Central High School will be hosting on select Saturdays this summer.On June 8th, we will be learning about the Black Power movement starting with when Stokley Carmichael first publicly proclaimed "Black Power" in June of 1966.
Starting at 11:00 AM we will have a special lesson with Park Rangers focused on the history of the Black Power movement.
From 11:30 AM-1:00 PM, there will be free crafts and activities.
At 1:00 PM, the morning lesson will be repeated for any newcomers!
Activities will resume at 1:30 PM and the program will finish at 3:00 PM.
All participants will earn a Junior Ranger Badge!
These programs will occur rain or shine.
Please note, Parents must stay with their children at all times.
