Do you have kids ages 5 to 12? Come out to Lake Havasu State Park on March 15th for our Junior Ranger Day. Starting at 10am until 2pm, families will have free access to the park to participate in activities based off of our Junior Ranger booklets. Be sure to tell rangers at the entrance station that you are here for the event. Completing all activities should take about an hour. The activities will be lead by park rangers and volunteers.
All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. After completing all activities, kids will earn an official Junior Ranger badge. Topics will include water safety, wildlife habitats, the water cycle, and more.
This event will take place in the Cactus Garden. Parking will be available at the garden and at the nearby 3A campground area.
