Following on from our massively successful Open Mic every Wednesday, we are keen to get more kids involved in music, and have been running these junior-special sessions every school holiday.It doesn't matter whether you are in a band already, practising to improve or just starting out, this is session is an opportunity for anyone who plays music to come down and play in front of a crowd.
We have in-house instruments to use on the day:
- Casio Keyboard with sustain pedal;
- Drum Kit
- Cajon
- Lead Guitar
- Bass guitar
- Full PA system to amplify to the whole pub
All parents are welcome too.
This session is hosted by the Amazing Rowena, who will co-ordinate the days running and inject confidence into those who may be a little nervous.
We usually have some of our regular senior musicians attend too, who can give advice / direction to those that want it.
This is the next rung of a ladder for the youth to want to play in a public setting to enable them to grow.
Free Entry, and we also reward musicians that play a free soft drink / hot drink too.
