Join us for two free programs on Juneteenth! Advance registration is preferred, but walk-in registrations are also welcome. Please note the museum is open with special hours from 1-8 p.m. for these programs.
1-4 p.m. Family celebration featuring artist and activist Kwaku Osei-Bonsu and his exhibition These Flowers Belong to Me.
Featuring a hands-on activity facilitated by Arts and Scraps in partnership with Kwaku Osei-Bonsu and a millinery program presentation by Kwaku Osei-Bonsu starting at 2:30 p.m. Plus time to view the art installation! Register at https://bit.ly/3x6g0ds
6-8 p.m. Panel discussion on lunch counters and activism in connection with the new exhibition Kresge at 100: A Century of Impact, a Future of Opportunity.
