We are planning an ecumenical service of repentance to be held on Thursday, June 19. The service will focus particularly on our sins of omission: those things we have left undone/unsaid. This will be a time for those most culpable of perpetuating injustice and racist systems (namely White Christians) to commit to repentance. The service will be preceded by a community meal of solidarity; namely, a time for us to prepare for worship, to reflect on the progress made, and (critically) the work ahead.
