About this Event
In this interactive playshop, educators will receive an exclusive preview of the June SEL Calendar theme, "Reflect & Shine: Embracing Leadership and End-of-Year Achievements." This month’s focus is on cultivating gratitude, self-reflection, and celebrating personal and collective growth as students wrap up the school year. Participants will explore how recognizing students’ achievements and fostering self-awareness can help them develop leadership skills and prepare for future challenges with confidence.
This playshop will model four hands-on activities from the June Calendar, formatted as a Morning Meeting/Advisory session. Each activity is grounded in research-backed practices to ensure that educators are implementing evidence-based strategies to enhance social-emotional learning (SEL) in their classrooms. You’ll discover how these activities promote gratitude, self-reflection, and leadership development while aligning with proven educational frameworks.
Target Audience: This playshop is designed for school leaders, teachers, school social workers, and counselors who are looking to enhance their SEL practices by fostering gratitude, celebrating growth, and empowering students to reflect on their leadership experiences as they conclude the school year.
