In the district of Cu Chi, Northwest of Saigon, near Cambodia.
The Chuối Gà River has run dry due to debris blockages caused by the heavy American carpet-bombing and artillery strikes in the region. Its blockages and new route has created a large swamp that trickles away slowly. The River used to be a major patrolling point in 1964 and the US military installed many small fuel depots and food stations for the locals who at that time were still part of the hearts and minds directive. However, since the fall of Fort William and the US presence almost nonexistent in the region now, the depots and food stations have been abandoned and more significant is the freedom at which the VC can move across the dry riverbed without anyone seeing them. The few bridges that did span over the River Chuối Gà are now sagging ropes and rotten slats or have been destroyed. The area has been cut off…Or was…
The region is about to get another taste of the Green Machine as the 25th Infantry has been ordered back into Cu Chi along with a team of Engineers. The mission is to dynamite areas of the blocked river and try to get it flowing again. This will open up the region once more mobile boat patrols, but they only have a few months before the rain season comes and makes its impossible to control the flow.
Welcome to the War guys
Hi all and welcome to the next installment of our epic Vietnam story. This is a full on FilmSim experience and everyone will be expected to play his or her part. Like Milsim, you may not be pulling your trigger all of the time, however when the shit hits the fan, it will really mean something. We hope everyone can get fully immersed, live, eat and breathe the 1960s conflict.
We can offer full rental kit for anyone that needs if for free and period rifles are only £20 for the weekend. This will include 3 x 30rnd mags to get you going.
For this game you will need:
Full camping equipment
Water - drinking
Airsoft Kit (if you have it)
Food and booze for the socials.
Please try to bring and use period (ish) kit only if you can, NOTHING modern looking can be taken into the field or it MUST be disguised to not break the immersion of the camp.
There will be an out of game camping area too for guys will plastic tents.
WE HAVE A HUGE PILE OF FREE LOAN KIT TOO!!

Friday
Gates open at 3pm for those that want to get onsite early.
Saturday
Registration opens at 8.00am
Briefing at 9.30am
Game starts around 10am
Game will finish when it finishes at 4pm
Sunday
Briefing at 9.30am
Game will re-start at 10am
Game will finish no later than 1pm
We will provide field radios and maps for the commanders in the field. PLEASE do not bring personal comms, only platoon radios will be allocated and used.
