Calling all CIP members! This month, let's ditch our usual spot and explore a whole new creative space at the Des Moines Art Center!Mark your calendars for June 27th, 7-9 PM. We'll be gathering in the Des Moines Art Center's art studios for an incredible Critique Night AND Studio Tour.
Here's the plan:
7:00-7:30 PM: Mingle and sip with fellow CIP members
7:30 PM: Take a guided tour through the DSM Art Center's amazing ceramics space and peek into other open studios.
8:00 PM: Critique Night kicks off! Got a piece you'd love feedback on? Bring it along (all work is welcome - pots, sculptures, etc.). We'll have round-table discussions with your peers, offering constructive criticism and fresh perspectives on your work. This is a supportive and positive environment to get valuable insights and a boost to your creative process! (Critiques will last 5-10 minutes each, depending on the number of participants.)
Feeling shy? Don't be! Everyone is eager to see what you've been creating, and we're all in this together to grow as artists.
The Des Moines Art Center is located at 4700 Grand Ave, Des Moines, IA 50312 (just down the road from our usual spot). Use the Education Entrance (next to the main entrance).
