About Fahimeh Foudazi:
Fahimeh Foudazi presents a thought-provoking collection of works that delve into the realms of personal transformation, spiritual growth, and the interconnectedness of human experience. This exhibition invites viewers to embark on a contemplative journey, exploring the universal forces that unite us while emphasizing the beauty of harmony within the contrasts of life.
About Brandy Green-Russell:
Brandy Green-Russell is a ceramic artist that uses clay to trap, release, and process memories. Memories are sorted, filed, or culled out during sleep. A memory is formed through the connection of neurons, and those pathways are formed when your brain decides that neuron contains relevant information. This is one way in which the physical body works without our cognitive consent. During the memory forming stage of sleep the rational frontal cortex is shut off while the emotional centers are still activated establishing the emotional connection with the memory. Memories can be volatile and dangerous as well as vulnerable.
About Jon O:
Jon O explores how ideas become objects.
Process ~ Idea <> Plan <> Production <> Object. Most often the idea is a response-reflection (reflection-response) to an event/behavior/environment...and the 'Plan' is what we hope to accomplish...We engage in 'Production' and the 'Object' is what we end up with.
