Hi all its workday time and we will be meeting as usual at the DR door at 1015-1030.As you may have seen from my post we temporarily have no lighting/power which will limit our work in the caponiers but we have some work on the top fortunately. We also need to clean North Entrance and If possible we would like to do some tidying in the ditch by the sally port.
Please come prepared with torches for navigating the sally port stairs but other than that as usual all PPE and eqpt is supplied and all you need is appropriate clothing and refreshments.
The Grand Shaft Staircase will also be open to visitors from 1030 to approx 1600 to explore at your leisure, free of charge.
I won't be there this month but my committee colleagues will be
and we look forward to seeing you all on Sunday 16th at 1030 at the Drop Redoubt door in the ditch.
