Join certified Punk Rope instructor and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) Ashley Andrien for an exciting 90-minute jump rope workshop designed for beginners and fitness enthusiasts alike! Whether you're brand new to jump roping or looking to enhance your skills, this workshop will cover all the fundamentals in a fun, supportive environment. Punk Rope, a workout born in New York City in 2004, combines the cardiovascular benefits of jumping rope with playful fitness drills set to upbeat music, making it a unique, energetic workout you can enjoy at any fitness level.
During this workshop, you’ll learn:
- How to properly size your jump rope for optimal performance and comfort.
- Basic jump rope techniques like the basic bounce, alternate foot step, and more.
- Correct form and posture to ensure you're jumping safely and efficiently.
- Tips on building rhythm, endurance, and coordination as you progress.
