For our July meeting, SLA member Doug Whiteley will be giving a talk on Magna 2024, a 5 year project close to Hadrian's Wall, undertaken by the Vindolanda Trust. Investigating Milecastle 46, the military zone, the vallum and part of the Magna fort itself, along with some adjacent anomalies,A talk about the project, with a personal view of the activities during two weeks of period 2, year 2, what they found and Doug's part in it.
