Santa Rosa 4x4 will be going up to Hull Mt taking lower and upper powder house trail to M1 up to Hull Mt overlook. We will take lunch at the overlook. On the way down we will take Refuge 4x4 to Rattlesnake 4x4 to M6 and down to oak flat campground.Hull Mt and lake Pillsbury area is known as a beginner/moderate trail.
We will meet at Dutch bros coffee 919 Hopper Ave, Santa Rosa, 7:00am and depart no later than 7:30am.
Travel time is about 2.5 hours and we should be at trailhead by 10AM. There we will air down and get ready for the day ahead.
-Our club requires all attendants to have a GMRS radio for trail communications. We run on channel 15 with a privacy channel of CTCSS 21. We can help with setting up the radio at the trailhead.
Vehicle requirements:
Roll bar or factory installed hard top.
-Emergency brake, parking brake, line-lock or other redundant braking system.
-Tow strap or rope (recommend rated at 2 times the vehicle weight).
-First aid kit.
-Jack capable of lifting the vehicle & tools to change tire.
-Spare tire within 3 inches diameter of other tires, or, for tires 37" or larger, run-flats or tools to repair/re-inflate tire.
-Fire extinguisher with gauge indicating good/full, appropriately stored.
-Seat belts for all vehicle occupants.
-Antennas must be rigid or restrained in a manner to prevent injuries.
-Adequate attachment points front and rear, i.e. tow hooks, receiver, etc. Tow balls are not permitted.
-Battery hold downs (no bungie cords).
RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT:
-Oil/fluid spill kit
Trail Master will be Kevin Pool
Bring snacks and food for lunch. We usually hit the peak right around lunch time. Be prepared for any weather.
