WE'RE BACK!!!Well, technically, we never really left. But now we'll finally be back to in-person meetings and that'll start with our Scene Reads on July 27th at KD Studios. Casting starts at 6:30pm, and Readings at 7pm.
As the world has been irrevocably changed so, too, has the DSA. That means that we will try to implement a bit of a hybrid approach to most of our events. So, if you're not able to join us face-to-face, you can still join in virtually!
If you're attending via Zoom, register just like you have been, here:

Then, Screenwriters, to have full actor participation in readings (in-person and via Zoom):
1. Use the Scene Reads Uploads page at dallasscreenwriters.com to upload your ten pages
2. For in-person writers, bring printed scripts for the actors attending at KD Studios (remember to highlight!)
Scripts should be uploaded NO LATER than Monday, 7/26 at 6:00 pm.
Scripts that aren't uploaded won't be accessible to actors who attend via Zoom.
ALL participating Writers, Actors, and Scripts (no matter the platform) must be available for casting BY 6:40 PM.
ACTORS, we need you there! Remember, you give voice to these scripts so that the writers can assess their works in progress.
And EVERYONE can join in as part of the audience! Screenwriters use audience participation to tell if their material is achieving its intended results.
Most importantly, we care about the Health & Safety of everyone. Therefore, for In-Person attendance:
-if you feel sick, unwell, off, or not your usual self (or have recently been around someone who has); then please STAY HOME
-if you are unvaccinated, wear a mask and practice social distancing, please
