July Business Breakfast

Join us for our July Business Breakfast with guest speaker, Rachel Claffey, Business Development Manager at Taxback. Rachel will share her experience in relocating to Vancouver for her role in Taxback and will discuss her work to support and guide international workers and students in Canada in filing their tax return and availing of their tax entitlements.

July's Business Breakfast will provide an overview on local tax rules, regulations and entitlements. Rachel will outline the most common challenges that foreign workers and international students encounter in relation to managing their tax and financial responsibilities in Canada. She will discuss the role she plays in guiding individuals in Canada through tax season. Rachel will also detail how Taxback has successfully partnered with numerous organisations across Canada with a view to supporting their international employees and network.

Rachel Claffey

Rachel is a Business Development Manager at Taxback and has recently relocated to Vancouver from Dublin. Rachel supports overseas folks in Canada – be they students or workers – guiding them through their tax returns.

Prior to joining Taxback in 2022, Rachel graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Classical Civilization and Italian. When she is not busy filing tax returns, Rachel enjoys reading, the outdoors and meeting new people.
