The Augusta Museum of History presents the 2024 Brown Bag Lecture Series: Evidence of Impact. The seventh lecture in 2024 is on Architecture As History with guest lecturer, Ellen Pruitt. Ellen is a Senior Architect at Cheatham, Fletcher & Scott Architects and Designers.
In the Evidence of Impact lecture series, leading historians and local professionals will share their experiences and insight on the multiple ways history leaves a significant mark in our daily lives. The way we record history and the methods we use to do so are ever changing and growing. From genealogy and oral histories to architecture and art, history is all around us waiting to be explored. Please join us in 2024 as we learn new ways to record and observe history through the Evidence of Impact.
The Museum will host the event in-person with limited seating in the Museum's Theater on the second floor. Doors will open at 12:00 PM. The talk will begin at 12:30 PM, followed by a brief Q & A. The recorded sessions will be available on the AMH YouTube channel and shared on social media.
No registration needed, cost is $5 for non-members and free for AMH members.
