July Bar Citizen DFW Meet-Up

July Bar Citizen will be in Flowermound, TX. Saturday July 20th, 2024 - at Esports Virtual Arena - start time 4 pm central time (CT) for the social, arena time 5 pm CT.

There has been some requests for more active Bar Citizen events. We will be meeting gamers from REGIMENT, who are active / retired military. They have quite a few Star Citizen players, so this will be a very fun event I believe.

I have booked the event for (10) attendees, however, if more people want to attend the venue will try to accomodate us if we give them enough notice.

For (10) people, the total is $650 including tax, food & sodas, and a 40 minute VR session in the arena (alcohol is available, but not included). That is $65 per person, they understand that we do 'dutch' so the venue will collect from all who attend. The arena sessions are ten people maximum, so if we do get enough interest and if they have an arena vacancy they will try to accommodate more people.

I will make two ticket types in Eventbrite: 1) VR Arena play yes, and 2) VR Arena play no.

For those who select 'no', plan to pay $15 at EVA. Must have ten or more 'yes' tickets.

The eventbrite tickets will be tagged as 'free' to reserve your spot. If you get a ticket and attend you will be responsible for your part.

I will stop the ticket sales on eventbrite on 7/6/24 so I can provide an accurate tally to the venue should more than ten people want to attend. I will update the event posting by 7/8/24.

Come join us, have some great food and beverages. Talk about Star Citizen and other games of interest.
