[July-August] 1-Day Camp: Be Kind, Be Cool, Be You!

This interactive workshop is designed to help children cultivate essential skills for building and maintaining friendships, asking for help when needed, and managing their emotions effectively. Through engaging activities, discussions, and role-playing exercises, children will learn about manners, kindness, respect, social behavior in different settings, and the power of positive self-talk and affirmations.

What will they learn?

• What are Good Habits & things you can do to be polite to yourself
• Kindness & Respect - Why is it important to be kind and respectful?

• Be a Manners Detective: Identifying Manners at Home and School
• Creating Social Behavior Rules for Special Places
• Be a Good Host - Party Etiquette
• Empathy Exercise: Putting Yourself in Someone Else's Shoes
• Asking for Helps
• Offering Kind Compliments
• Friendship Challenges and Problem-Solving
• Crafting Activity - Compassion Chest

Students will be creating their own Compassion Chest as a way to embrace Kindness and celebrate Friendship & Connection.
