Our Featured Artist this month is Emery Young from Social Lies. This is what she has to say about her business: My mission is: Help people to open their minds, think for themselves and question their perception of the world.
I like people to think and expand their minds. I hope that my art supports them on their journey to question the way they perceive the world. I add quotes to my paintings, jewelry and clothes to give people different ways to look at things. I have always loved creating drawings, paintings, and flo paintings. I feel that it is important that we are kind to our Earth and that we reuse the things that we have. I love to make upcycled clothes with embroidery and paintings on them. I like to find the hidden beauty in the items I make and the world around me.

Classes and Events happening during the Art Stroll:
-6:00 to 9:00: Emery Young from Social Lies will be showcasing her new pieces during the Art Stroll. You can also stop by for a FREE sticker plus get a deal on beautiful 8 x 10 Flow Paintings for the phenomal deal of Buy One, Get One FREE. Find her by the South Doors in front of the Featured Artist display in the front window.
-6:00 to 8:00: Gail Moses will be demoing how to create tiny turtles using a cowrie shell. Art Stroll attendees are welcome to create one of their own for only $4.99. Stop by to make as many as you want. Find her in Classroom B.
-6:00 to 9:00: Christmas in July with Heather Green as she does demonstrations on making Macrame Christmas Ornaments. Find them in the store to purchase these cute ornaments. Find her in Classroom B.
-6:30 to 9:00: Drop in Jewelry Bar. Stop by and pick out parts for a unique custom made ring. First pick out a stone, then the bezel (metal that holds the stone, and then pick your silver band style. After all are chosen, 16th generation silversmith, Rene, will create your ring while you shop. Ring will be ready in less than 30 minutes. Find this in the archway to the studio space of Classroom A.
-6:30 to 9:00: Watch Mike Hurst from Hurst Handblown Glass create Glassblowing right before your eyes. We can't wait to see what he is going to make this month! Find him in his studio space.
-6:00 to 9:00: We are beyond thrilled to have The Little Artisan Market be part of the July Art Stroll. We will have youth entrepreneurs (from Kindergarten to 12th Grade) set up in front of the store selling their amazing art. This is your chance to support the next generation of local artists.
