Do you have a young artist interested in learning what it takes to become a muralist?! Come learn with us! In this week-long intensive camp, students will learn how to design and implement a mural in their community - right next door at 42 North! We will dive into how to communicate with a client, create mockups and proposals, as well as choosing materials, preparing the worksite, and of course, executing the project and painting a full scale mural alongside their peers. •
AGES: 13-17 years old
EXPERIENCE: All experience levels are welcome!
MATERIALS: Everything is included
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Please wear comfortable shoes! We will be on our feet most of the days as well as climbing ladders.
We recommend baseball hats, sun hats, sunglasses, sunscreen! This is an OUTSIDE camp!
Bring a water bottle and a packed lunch/snacks each day!
TIME AND LOCATIONS: Drop off and pick up will be at MUSEjar each day. We will move between the studio and the on-site location (42 North)
9AM-3PM every day!
