This camp is perfect for those interested in completely diving into the world of all things clay and pottery! We will focus on wheel throwing techniques, including trimming and adding handles, etc. as well as explore a variety of surface design methods from sgraffito to glaze layering. We will also learn how to load and unload the kiln. Students will really have the time to hone their skills and create a body of work that speaks to their developing personal style as a young artist! •
AGES: 12-17 years old
EXPERIENCE: All experience levels are welcome!

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Please wear comfortable, closed toe shoes.
The pottery studio is MESSY. We have aprons, but please wear clothes that can get dirty.
If you have long hair, you must tie it back.
No long finger nails
Bring a water bottle and a packed lunch/snacks each day!
TIME AND LOCATIONS: Drop off and pick up will be at MUSEjar each day.
10AM-2PM each day!
