This summer camp focuses on simplicity. How can we use what we have to connect with our planet? How can we gather inspiration from a simple walk in the woods or by dipping our hands in earth made clay? Students will create useful tools to help our local pollinators, specifically bees and birds. We will explore our local surroundings and create a decorated nature turtle inspired by Jan Brett's book, Mossy. The magic of earth comes alive as we also create a paper mache earth lantern that will twinkle as they doze off each night. •
